Like many of you, I’m no stranger to hard times. I was once a gymnast for the University of Nebraska—until I dislocated both elbows at the same time, after already recovering from breaking both ankles simultaneously.
I lost my sport, my identity, and my self-worth. I spiraled into depression, anxiety, and sudden weight gain. Eating disorders, obsessive thoughts, and crushing self-doubt found their way in and completely buried me.
I tried every diet under the sun, did hours of cardio, and restricted entire food groups—with zero results. In fact, I kept gaining weight, which left me a shell of my former self.
I’m sure there’s been a time in your life where you can relate… feeling like nothing is working out despite giving it your absolute all.
But here’s what changed everything: time, radical self-love, and a complete refusal to give up on myself. That’s when I discovered the real secrets to fitness success. And let me tell you—it’s not dieting, restriction, self-loathing, or endless cardio.
